A modern interpretation of a barn conversion. The rural setting and proximity of motorway dictated a site sensitive approach. Green Belt replacement dwelling planning policy restricted the permittable size, so a clever us of the floor area was needed. A double height living space gives ‘wow’ factor and a visual connection to the first floor via first floor gallery. The planning permission granted was coupled with equestrian facilities to the rear which included stables and a manege.
